I don't know anything about this kid other than he has 0 stars and no offers. Any insight?

Not necessarily a back-up plan. What realistic defensive end target did we miss out on that he would replace?
True. I watched his tape. Kid can run. Very athletic. He is impressive. What's the scoop? I also saw where Arkansas is recruiting him as well. This kid just not camp anywhere?

It's what I read him say that a lot of coaches have told him. Maybe they were all lying to him.

Don't think that matters a ton. It's not something that would keep him from being a good defensive end. If he can get up to 280 or 285 (I'm sure he can), he would be good to go at SDE.

Haven't seen that Arkansas is recruiting him. Every cycle, there are schools that keep a kid in their back pocket and don't offer until late if he lacks a ton of offers. I'm not sure if this is one of those situations, but if Kentucky and Arkansas offers, I wouldn't be surprised to see 3 or 4 other P5 schools put out a quick offer as well.

Good speed and good frame. A lot of options to work with. I wonder what positions the staff would be open to putting him at.

He looks like he can carry more weight. If they can bulk him up and he can maintain that speed and athleticism then he could be a contributor for sure.

That's what I'm thinking. Staff could go a number of different ways. Depends on how he handles his weight.

UK has no SDE committed in this class. He looks like a strictly hand on the ground guy. Is undersized but moves pretty well. Guessing for whatever reason he was never evaluated, maybe never attended camps. Competition doesn't look real strong but he can run a little.

I think once his tape gets evaluated by rivals he will be a 5.5 3 star. He obviously has some high level ability but how he develops is anyone's guess. He reminds me of someone but I can't figure out who.

I'm still skeptical mainly because of the competition as he plays in the smallest class in Georgia. Thats what worries me. Then again he could be another Kash and I really hope he is. He does have a nice frame that could handle up to 285. If he can get a RS and keep that speed he could be a force. Still he's a backup option as of now. I don't think the staff has given up on Nelson yet so that could be the reason no offer is out yet. If the rumor that Arkansas might offer is true then there may be something here. I think I'll just leave the staff to make this decision. Nelson is higher rated but this kid might have a higher ceiling. Take your pick.

i think he would probably give us the most upside if he came in and rs'ed and just added weight til he started to lose speed. if he could get up to 280+ i could see him developing into an ellery moore type DT/DE. i just don't see him playing standing up in the sec but who knows. get him on campus and try to lean him out and see if you can add some speed to him and maybe he can play olb'er but i think bigger is better in his case.

I'd be more comfortable if he was just a couple inches taller. Then again if he has a really big wingspan that would compensate for that.

According to another site UK's looking at a California guy named Keanu Saleapaga, 6'6" 265 SDE. UK's apparently not offered yet. Film's impressive.
