I never thought he wasn't any good to begin with. It opens up a scholly for next years class which looks to be the best under Stoops!
Not sure I would call Williams a bust. He was a project, the kind of player that you take a flyer on, and hope he emerges. I didn't really expect much from him to begin with. The 2014 class has taken a beating. It was highly ranked but starting to look like there were a lot of busts in that class.

Attrition comes in two types. You have attrition that results from academic casualties, legal trouble, violation of team rules and you have healthy attrition that results from upgrading your roster. In the past we were losing a lot of players for the wrong reasons. There has been very little attrition under Stoops compared to what you see at many programs and the ones we have lost were mostly due to upgrading the talent on the roster. Hatcher and Tubman are the only two that we've lost due to unfortunate circumstancesWas thinking the same thing earlier today when I saw this news, but the reality is, this is the reality of attrition in big time college football. In 2014, UK signed 28 players (three Juco's and 25 HS Seniors). Of those 25 HS Seniors, seven are already gone (Hendrix, Krok, LaRubbio, Richardson Snodgrass, Tubman and now TV Williams).
Snodgrass was the best. He could have been great in this offense

Sorry but I'm calling you out on this. It's obvious he wasn't a difference-maker on this team, and that's too bad for him and for the program. But your comments are basically kicking him when he's down, and I don't like that.I never thought he wasn't any good to begin with. I think Krok is the biggest loss from the 2014 class (so far; hopefully we won't lose anyone else).Snodgrass was the best. He could have been great in this offense

I'd like to wish him the best of luck wherever he ends up, and I do hope Stoops is able to his scholarship to good use.

Maybe you don't think you're kicking him, but your words certainly come across that way. Look, when a drug-user/potential dealer like Ridge Wilson or Jason Hatcher or a malcontent/bad egg like Daylen Hall gets booted off the team, they don't get much sympathy from me. But when a good kid like TV decides to leave, it's apparent that he acknowledges that he's just not quite good enough to play. In that case, just wish the kid well and hope Stoops will find someone better to take his place. Not kicking him but he has barely played He has no size or doesnt even have the speed of receivers his size IMO. He has been here awhile and has he even caught a TD? IMO never cared for his game that much and he is a dime a dozen receiver. Ill stick by that as it seems the coaching staff agrees. Just speaking truth even if it hurts feelings I cannot help that.
He's a classy young man and his goodby message to the BBN shows it.I never thought he wasn't any good to begin with. It opens up a scholly for next years class which looks to be the best under Stoops!
Best wishes and good luck, thanks for your efforts. Seems like he got recruited over, hope he lands somewhere that he can excel on the field.
