Take out the politics, but how could anyone vote for Hillary?

She is so corrupt, no one can deny the blatancy. Are we so worried about party alliance versus someone that has our country's interest first?

I truly feel sorry for our grandchildren if we've become that warped. I hope Americans wake up and take notice and reacts.

I am certain they have taken notice. Question is---Will they react in correct way. I do not think politics has ever been this twisted in our history.

I think you hit the nail on the head in that many can't see past the left/right. I have family members that always vote democrate even though everything they believe in reflects Republican views and visa versa. Strange world we now live in!

I'm not denying that "she" is corrupt. However, your whole post is also true if you replace "she" with "our politicians", and takes on much more significant relevance.

"Are we so worried about party alliance versus someone that has our country's interest first?" Yes. Collectively, we are. Everybody is in the pockets of lobbyists and big business with little regard to folks like you and me.

"I am certain they have taken notice. Question is---Will they react in correct way." I think you have your answer. How much of congress was replaced last election? What is the percentage that's re-elected year after year after year?

The answer is in your first question. People are so caught up in party alliance that they are blinded, and think that it is the "other party's" fault, and so they keep voting the same.

Just look at this board. Somebody brings up something corrupt about a republican, and the reponse isn't "yeah, that's really bad, we need to get rid of this scum", it is to counter with something equally bad or worse that a democrat did. Or vice versa ... bring up corruption by a democrat and it's countered with something a republican did.

People defend their "team" without stepping back and looking and saying "wow, both sides are awful".

Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of General Electric, outright refused at a recent shareholders’ session to explain the coincidental timing between his philanthropy’s cash donation to the Clinton Foundation and his company’s subsequent receipt of a lucrative State Department contract.

If the cards are stacked in her favor, or that Monster otherwise wins the office, I hope she'll have selected a running mate to bring in votes from an opposing view. A la McKinley's selection of Teddy Roosevelt.
I doubt she can live or remain sane as POTUS. She is showing signs of a poor functioning brain, imo.
Waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy too risky. Terrifying.

Have you looked up the Graham Leach Bliley act? It was signed under Clinton in 1999 (the 3 authors were GOP). There was something in the Glass Steagall act that separated banking from insurance companies (that was one of the big issues with the Great Depression). Prior to GLB being signed, CitiBank had begun acquisition of Travelers, which would have been illegal under Glass Steagall, but instead of facing legal action, there was suddenly a law passed that made it legal and the acquisition was completed.

Reference my post above ... all our politicians are corrupt.
