I was on the main board and they raised the question about possible conference expansion. The ACC said as of right now they don’t have an interest in further expansion and they will wait to see how things play out. The sports writer writing the article thought that was a mistake by the ACC. I really can’t think of any school I would expand with.

Other than add Notre Dame as a full member, I don’t see any solid additions. The ACC isn’t strong enough to pull in from another P5….Maybe add (ugh) West Virginia to balance out at 16. I’d like them to add Memphis.
Never happen. Big 10 $$$ too big. Can’t recall an exact amount but their last annual Big 10 cut was somewhere around $20-30 million more than ours from the ACC.
I would hate Memphis in the ACC their fans are just as bad as WVU as far as I am concerned. They screwed us over in the Metro and they ran full page adds against in the Liberty Bowl. We don’t need to associate with them in any way.
