systems..yes...no?
Depends on your needs and if going electric or gas . Pros and cons .
Myself I haven't put one in. I never runout and there is 4 adults and 1 baby in my home . I've installed a few of them for friends and family and a couple commercial grade ones . Hard water can play hell on them . People I know who has the gas model like them electric not so much.

If it was just me and the wife I might get one. We are using hot water continuously so it's at no advantage for me to spend the extra money.
We bought this house 4 years ago. It has a Navien or Navion tankless and my wife washes clothes and stuff all the time. We never run out of hot water. I went to get a part and told the counter people the brand and they said it was a good one. It’s been good for us. I also have a water softener and an inline filter,. There’s a part that has to be check regularly in the heater so I’d recommend getting the inline filter to remove things that caused problems with it. It’s natural gas.

They are a great option for small families especially those that are on the go .

I was just googling about one last week for camping. Look pretty cool and is smaller than the one in my house.

This might look familiar to some.

A buddy of mine put one of those in his old camper he loves it . They make a portable diesel hot water unit that's also a heater . Technology in this is unbelievable.
Most new campers are all thankless. I sorta like my little 15g tank on my camper and it only takes 15 minutes to heat and as l9ng as I keep it fired with propane I don't run out of hot water.

I have a small off road camper I use for fly fishing and hunting so I can stay off grid in places my larger one can't get too. So I ordered one of these after researching it online the past few weeks.
