Been hearing some news that Tarboro is poised to make yet another run back to the State Championship. It seems as though Coach Craddock and his staff have really designed a system that those kids are buying into. I am also hearing that kids are wanting to transfer from other schools including larger schools in hopes to get more exposure as they showcase their talents on the gridiron. Teams such as Wallace Rose Hill, Tarboro, Reidsville, Wake Forest, Mallard Creek are really putting their stamp on North Carolina football. Much talent continues to come out of these programs. It will be another good season for all these programs i have no doubt!

I can't argue. Tarboro took Mt.Airy back behind the woodshed in the State Championship game, and Mt.Airy was a phenomenal team.

I was at Tarboro this week for a tennis match, a lot (20-25) of football players were on the practice field working out on their own, no coaches. From what I saw, they're not losing a 1A football game anytime soon.

We should be pretty strong again this year. Hard to see our defense being as good as it was last year. Awesome job by the coaching staff to have all of the young men committed to working hard all year and not just a few months. It really shows on the field.

Tarboro. I believe everyone is looking for them to win. But it is good locker room material saying people have already gave Tarboro the state. But they are VERY GOOD from what I have heard from my friend down east

The responses on this thread amuse me. So Tarboro took MA behind the wood shed and North Stanley is the team to beat. First off Tarboro beat Ma , congrats , very good team. But let’s look at this for a minute. 12 - 0 with 6:38 left in the 4th and 18 to 7 with a little over 4 minutes to go in the game is far from behind the woodshead. Watch the game , they score two more in the final 3 and a half minutes of the game after Ma Qb/dB Ian holder gets hurt. Holder throws pic after injury and gives up a big run around the end ,again because he was injured, WATCH THE GAME. Much respect to Tarboro and doesn’t matter if you win by a hundred or one it’s a win and you are the better squad either way. Again Great program , coaches , players and fans. Now on to North Stanly. Until they make it out of the second round then we can talk. Right now they are the team that lost to Murphy , doesn’t matter how many d1 recruits they have.
