If a team has to punt multiple times against Martin County they probably ain’t good enough to beat Tarboro
Have to remember that the RPI also factors in your opponent's opponents win percentage. GC will not only be helped by simply playing the likes of Tarboro and Kinston, but playing Wilson Prep and North Pitt boosts them as well, even though WP and NP don't have great records. Prep's schedule is #1 in 1A and NP's schedule is #7 in 4A. Tarboro is the #1 team in 2A, plus their schedule is #3. GC's overall record, plus their opponent's opponents records will help them get a high seed, where they'll be eliminated in the first round.
Yeah the conference schedule gonna be tough. I think they could maybe beat Ayden grifton.
You know they beat Wilson Prep 30-8, SWE struggled with WP, SWE ain’t no pushover respectfully. Don’t let the Martin game fool you it’s a horrible loss but they were spotted two TDs in the first two mins without touching the ball on offense. No excuses bad loss for GC, just don’t throw em away yet yes they will have their hands full versus Tarboro but GC has some dogs too.
I love the confidence! I don’t think GC is better than anyone we’ve played except NH, but we still have to come out ready and focused

Yeah I don't think GC is that bad. I like Tarboro in this one obviously but Greene Central isn't a awful team.

Lol. I just don't think they are as good as their record indicates. I think they caught WP at the right time, because they are playing much better now than they were early in the season. After that GC game, they almost beat Northeastern, did beat FC, and took us to the 12th round. Games 1-3 was great scheduling on GC's part. I just doubt that they will be able to do anything with anyone in their conference other than Beddingfield. We'll see though. I'm not trying to insult them. I just think the other teams can beat them.
No problem I def respect your perspective. This GC is built pretty good starting at the Oline. Goldsboro and NL at the beginning of the schedule does make the schedule incredible weak but also don’t sleep on NP man they were HUGE and physical. Their DE Ethan Wilson is a MAN lol but I don’t know how much of a problem he is vs teams like SWE that are run first but for spread teams, Wilson off the EDGE was a game changer.
I definitely think the jury is out on Kinston. Idk if they've lived up to the hype necessarily. That offense is still good, but defense is suspect.
