Does anybody think Kinnard leaves? Honestly judging by what I saw none of our team is ready for the NBA. Tatum would be the closest.

Enjoyed watching Tatum grow over past few months, his ACCT was incredible. Best of luck & see ya in an NBA arena. Think he'll be an above average pro for decade plus, JT isn't particularly fast for NBA level athleticism. Will need to work on NBA three ball range.

K wants quick announcements so recruits know major mins are available.

This one might have to do with Knox.

Thank you Jayson. It has been a pleasure to watch you develop as a basketball player and as a person this year. Nothing but well wishes and I'm happy we have you as part of the family.

I really enjoyed Tatum. There have been a number of offensively skilled, high volume OAD players (like Rivers), but I never felt Tatum was a ball hog. He sometimes took unnecessary shots and also needed to work on his range - but generally, he was a solid team player. Too bad all the injuries and craziness of the season led to the inability to match the talent and expectations. Nevertheless, he was a very good player and will be a solid player in the NBA.

I will always remember that dunk in the UNC game over Meeks! Stellar!!! Best of luck Jason, make us proud.

As a side note, what is the perceived benefit of declaring this early vs. waiting until after the NC is over or later?

Congratulations to Jayson, and the hard work he has put in. He is immensely talented, but you don't get where he is on talent alone. I hate he missed those few games, but man, was he good or what?

I don't think so. I understand what you mean. But who REALLY thought there was ANY chance Tatum was coming back. I don't think Knox is waiting on Tatum to declare. Now if Knox commits to us tomorrow - well then I'm clearly wrong.

Not sure the timing really matters at all one way or the other, I guess since you already know, it won't change; why wait.

Congrats to him, kid is a hell of a player and should be a terrific pro.

He's going to be a great pro and if it weren't for all those former tar heels that are gonna be in the top 50 NBA players of all time he may have had a chance to become one of those. OFC
He will never be as good as those guys! He can only dream.

This dude has potential to be an NBA star. He's shown the touch that could make him a good shooter from deep, though that will take some time to fully develop, but his instincts and overall skill as a scorer are very mature for his age.

Tatum and Parker are very relatable IMO.

Tatum has a higher ceiling defensively, Parker offensively.

Both struggled in college with shot selection and were always more suited for the NBA.

Good luck, Jayson, and thanks for the great moments over the year (loved the Meeks posterization)!
I enjoyed watching him play, and develop over the year. I personally think he's going to be a better pro than he was at the college level.
