So what happens if Florida wins? where do we go then?
Bama will still most likely be in the CFP with one loss..

if Florida wins, they'd get the SEC slot in the Sugar, and Auburn, who is probably ahead of UF in the pecking order right now, would drop to probably the Citrus. LSU would likely be ahead of us and get the Outback I'm guessing? but I'm not sure anyone else would definitely be ahead of us so I don't see why UK couldn't get the Gator even if UF upset Bama.

only thing I can think of is if a Florida win raises Arkansas' profile since they beat the Gators, so maybe they could get the Gator? UT looks likely for Music City, UGa for Belk, TAMU for Heart of Texas, USC and Vandy for the Bham and Independence bowls, so most bowls seem set imo, could be the only questions are between UF and Aub for Sugar/Citrus, and UK/Arky for Gator/Liberty. and I think UK is much more likely than Arky for Jacksonville regardless outcome of the SEC CG.

Agree about it probably not effecting Kentucky as the same teams will be available for the taxslayer bowl no matter who wins. Even if Bama don't make the playoffs (yeah right) they would still get in New Years six

Only thing that I could see change maybe is florida would lock up a sugar bowl win. Depending on the weekend auburn could get a New Years six as an at large. That slides lsu to citrus. And would open open up outback maybe? Would think sec would keep AM at Texas for ticket sales?

Think taxslayer is 90 percent a lock though.

Would be interesting to see if Tech matched up against Florida st when Stoops was there. I know FSU has more talent will look it up.

From what I could tell, Stoops never coached against Ga Tech. Fla st. lost 49-44 in 2009. Defense gave up 401 yards rushing. Tech was 10-3 that year. Stoops was hired just after that and Fla St. never played them again while Stoops was there.

Hoping we get the Music City Bowl instead. People are fooling themselves if they think this bowl is significantly more prestigious than the one in Nashville. It's still in the same pool of 6, but it's a lot more inconvenient for our fans to get to. And it's at 11:00 in the morning. No good bowl is on that early.

know1, in reality, the bowl pecking order is confusing and bizarre, but based upon history, alone, the Gator/Taxslayer is more prestigious than the MCB, and my God, they are going to have to rename the MCB, the Kentucky Bowl, if we keep going there.

He coached against GT in the ACC championship game the year he became our head coach.
