Team full of complementary players

I said it a few weeks ago. We have 10 good players and no elite players. I'd rather have 3 elite players and fill in the gaps, I worry this year will be just like last year but with worse shooting.

I think we have a good group of players. Oweh is the favorite for POY in the SEC. UL is well coached and they will be in or close to the top 20 ranking all season. I understand no one likes losing but many on this board , by reading your posts, are way too upset for early season.

I agree with most of your comments but I do not think Oweh is anywhere near good enough to win SEC player of the year. I thought that before the season started. I actually from the first few games dont even know if he would make the 1st team all SEC. If he does then the SEC is way down this year.

Evaluating talent to fit his system maybe a bugaboo at this level for Pope. Time will tell
