Loved Double Live Gonzo. Weekend Warriors was good, Wango Tango not so much. After that Ted’s music became mostly irrelevant.

He's crazy, but has few good songs classics even ( free for all, stranglehold, cat scratch fever) the rest is mostly just junk.

Think he was an incredible entertainer, 40 years ago. Could go for some “Wang Dang Sweet Poontang” right about now.

Couldn’t care less about his politics.

I enjoyed his solo and Amboy Dukes stuff but watched an interview with him when he was doing Damn Yankees. He was very open about it being just for the money. I didn't care for the pop sound of it but it ruined his past music for me.

If he could recapture his work with the Amboy Dukes and his early solo career, I'd give him a listen. Otherwise, the rest of his music was just awful. The last time I saw him on anything, he was on a VH1 reality show with Sebastian Bach, Jason Bonham, Scott Ian and another dude who's name escapes me. Nugent and Bach spent most of the series bickering like a couple of drama queens while Bonham quietly looked like he was wondering what the Hell he was thinking when he signed up for that series.

I saw him in concert with Damn Yankees. Awful.

As a hunter and a lifetime member of the NRA, I wish he’d go away. His guitar solos are as self indulgent as his narrative...a complete blowhard.

Does he actually have any good music, or is he famous simply for being a huge advocate of the NRA?

Honestly have no clue.

Didn't he **** his pants and act crazy to avoid military service? He always struck me as being a fake country boy, kind of like Kidd Rock.
