The result certainly did not fit the recent narrative around here.

Nope. Didn't think it possible. Can we get one more?
I'm thinking today our best chance. AP has pitched against Clemson last year, hoping that gives him confidence. Hoping our bats come alive. It's going to be tough holding a good hitting team down like last night.

But the narrative around here was not wrong. It still isn't. Winning one game at home against Clemson doesn't mean "we're back".
Oh, I know, but just pointing out that the performance defied the narrative and expectations.

Good pitching and timely hitting were key elements but without the baserunners only 4 hits would have been meaningless.
Clemson errors and WP's/PB's can be counted on every game.

Great win! Won’t get swept like last year would be great to win the series! Outstanding pitching performance!

Who saw THAT coming?

I didn't.

Fantastic job by Gunther and great call by Coach PM to get the matchup against a team he's seen more than once.

Hats off to all and congrats!
Ray would already be drafting a contract extension.

I’m not SHOCKED we won a game. And if we were going to win one, the home game would’ve been most likely. And perhaps getting embarrassed by Queens lit a fire under our a$$es.

But completely shocked how we dominated the game. 7-0 shutout was nowhere on my radar.

That being said, I would’ve been shocked for us to win the series. Hoping like hell I’ll be shocked around 6 pm this evening!
