Bad news:
Mat Hockenberry pitched a complete game and held us to 7 hits and 2 lousy runs.
In a valiant effort , Funkhouser went eight innings , K'd 12 and walked 1.
The good news is we are leading 2-0 after 8 1/2 and it's Burdi time. In the bottom of the ninth it went K, popup and an error on the CF who went in as, I assume, a defensive substitution. Another K for Burdi!!
