They're getting destroyed. That freak field they play on at home is a joke. A lot of season left, and they're a decent team, but I sure hope they don't get a national seed.
I'm no fan of the surface at Hawkins field, but unfortunately, it isn't unique - doesn't Louisville have such a playing surface?
Astroturf plays different than grass. Vandy is used to their astroturf. We were not. That may not be why we loss two games but it certainly appeared to affect our fielding.
Almost like playing on a concrete parking lot - definite home field advantage (and I'm not talking about the fans)!

UT installed artificial turf on its field. You would think Vanderbilt would have felt right at home.
Yeah it's one thing to have it on a neutral field, it's a whole different thing to be one's home turf. Glad we dont have to play there every year.
