Same thing happened to a guy who works in our carpenter shop son. He was on the "giving end" of it, along with several other seniors. All did time in juvie. I felt bad for his dad. Just a super nice guy who I'm damn sure taught his son better than that.

Hazing went on for years at my school. Finally, several years after I graduated, they were caught and some people went to juvi for it. It probably still goes on though. Stupid.

In a POS Eastern Kentucky city back in the mid 90s, three or four football players sexually assaulted a freshman by putting shampoo bottles, their toes and a broom stick up his butt during summer football camp and if I'm not mistaken beat him too and to the point that he was peeing blood and said to not be able to have children.

They weren't even kicked off the football team. They were just suspended a few games. Unbelievable. Should have been kicked out of school and jailed.

We moved around a lot when I was a kid. I played football for three different schools representing a pretty big cross-section of school types (rural, city, private), but there wasn't hazing at any of them. I'm not sure how something like this even starts.

For as stupid and criminal as this is, I think the NFL hazing of rookies is pretty bad too. Grown men making millions of dollars shouldn't be hazing anybody.

Yep, I know which school you're talking about and they made the mistake of picking on the son of one of the best players to ever come out of that school. One did end up losing his scholarship and was kicked off the team. However, had it not been such a high profile kid I do not believe that anything would've been done.

One of my favorite parts of Stoker's great novel was when the troubled Harker couldn't rouse the Count from his sleep by clobbering him over the head with a shovel. Yet the great poster with the ghoulish user pic shies away after only a soft blow, what he termed "insufferable."
