So its ok to get a girl drunk and rape her? What are you saying, Johnson was a representative of UT,by being a member of the football team. There was enough to indict him which means there was something there, DA's don't present cases to grand juries if there isn't some evidence and grand juries don't indict unless they believe there is something there.

Also it common knowledge that AJ and this girl has had a relationship in the past.

Yes. AJ Johnson forced alcohol down a girls throat and then raped her with 2 other girls in the room and over 100 people at a party at his house. Then after they press charges, the very next day all 3 women in the room destroyed their personal cell phones and the lawyers are trying to keep the phone records out of court. You put 2 and 2 together.

So it's OK to rape as long as the victim destroys their cell phone? Got it.

Vandenberg at Vandy let 4 teammates run a rape train on his girlfriend. But she was his girlfriend, guess that is alright with your twisted sick UT logic?

Why was drae Bowles targeted by the team?

Look, here is the rumor..... Drae was dating the girl that claimed AJ raped her but it's been out for a while and it's the reason the girls destroyed the phones because the girl and AJ had been seeing each other for a while on the side. That night Drae found out about his girl and AJ and confronted her about it. This is when she claimed rape. Drae obviously was doing the right thing, call the police and then took her to the hospital. The next day at practice, Drae was confronted by other teammates and that's when a altercation occurred. Drae did not leave the team and was at practice and the games the rest of the year. He then transferred down to a small school the next year.

So, if you have a relationship with someone, then it's okay to sexually assault them?
I'm shocked you actually typed that implication. Well, you're a VOLZ fan, so not really shocked, just dumbfounded that you believe that's logical.
Please don't ever get married.

If AJ is guilty, why did all the girls involved destroy their cell phones the next day and the girls lawyers have been fighting for a year to keep the phone records out of court? You don't destroy evidence unless it hurts you.

You're an effen moron.

May be but I haven't been accused of rape. Who is the real moron here? You say it's "common knowledge" this girl was Johnson's girlfriend...so that makes rape OK? If you can't rape your girlfriend who can you rape, right?

How do you know she wasn't intimidated into destroying her phone? After all team mates threatened another player for helping a victim so it isn't beyond believability they threaten her too. Blame the victim, grimy defense attorneys have used that tactic for years.

That wasn't what I pointed out. You brought up that point that AJ and the girl had a relationship, like that is some sort of idiotic justification for sexual assault.

On the cellphone side of your idiocy, who knows why they did it. Regardless, facts will be facts and if there was sexual assault, then players and program should be punished for it to the fullest extent that they can.

On a side note, it's quite obvious you have not procreated (thank GOD). Please keep it that way.

I have never said rape is ok and AJ or anyone else didn't do this. If they did, they should fry in prison. All I'm say is it's obvious the girls are hiding something.

You're hoping they are, as well as the players.

So, since I never said 'rape' either, why make a point that AJ and the girl were in a relationship if you weren't implying that is an 'okay' reason for it to occur? In short, why make that statement?

So did several players assault him on two different occasions? I'd probably leave too if the guys jumping me weren't being dismissed

I haven't one time said AJ did or didn't do this, obviously I don't know. I just gave you what the rumors are about and what happened that night but it's a fact that 3 girls got rid of their cellphones the very next day. Now it could be total coincidence but for some reason the girls lawyers don't want what's on those phones used in court.

Ah, just rumors. Still, why bring up the relationship point? You haven't answered that at all. What's the purpose of that original statement you keep avoiding?

I have a great niece who goes there and is on the dance team.I begged my sister to try to talk her out of going there. She had a choice to go to UK,UL or cheatU. I was very disappointed when I found out. She told my sister she hoped I wouldn't be to mad. I never liked driving thru Knoxville because I hat them so much. Being an over the road driver I have been thru there a for over 38 years.
I hope and pray that the truth will come out and let the courts settle what ever the punishment. It is really sad a young lady can not walk down the street without being molested. It saddens me ever time I hear of these kinds of things.

I'm sorry that I hope if someone is innocent, they don't go to prison. It would seem that the two parties in this being involved in a relationship and the fact evidence was destroyed, makes one wonder what is being hidden. If destroying evidence doesn't seem fishy, then I can't help you.

You go along with the University in blaming the victim first before knowing the facts. That is pretty ******.

Because if two people have had consensus sex in the past, it makes you question her word against his.

Let's spill it out EASILY so these simpletons can get it : being accused of rape and actually raping someone is two totally different things. AJ has been accused of rape but that does not mean he raped her. There is a little thing called " presumed innocent until proven guilty" that many of you simply choose to ignore. Let the legal process play out. The truth is none of us know the whole story. There is evidence to suggest that this girl knew what she was doing and wanted to deliberately save face ( for what reason - again I nor anyone else knows) . Again as pointed out in earlier thread , things like this happen all the time at campuses around the country - including Kentucky (seems to me I remember that an incident involving Chuck Hayes similar to this was swept under the rug. Am I wrong or am I right?

It sadness me that you automatically are assuming one is guilty without being proven. It sadness me that people can't walk down the street in Lexington without football players waving and pointing guns that look real at others.

It's disgusting that you automatically believe that this happened and the girls are telling the truth without being convicted.

Uhhh, you go with the victim's side of the story until proven otherwise. That's why suspend football players, kick them off of campus and then run through the court system to prove what might have and might not have happened.

That process happens everywhere, including the University of Kentucky.

With that said, you idiots come back when you grow thumbs and understand exactly what is 'right' and what is 'wrong' because clearly your heads are firmly up your *** at the moment.

It saddens me that you are over here on a UK board acting as if you know the truth when in fact you never read my entire post. You would notice I said to let the COURTS decide what and who was guilty and come up with the punishment.

No you don't go with the victims story, that's guilty until proven innocent. The schools take these accusations seriously like they should and they remove the person to keep from getting a law suit. It's no different than a teacher at a school being removed who has been accused of something.

Your university has been through enough of these, you should know how it's done. The university takes the accused out of the scene and then hands both accused and accuser off to the courts.

I'm not choosing sides - there certainly was enough evidence to warrant being indicted and thrown off the team - and I must say coach Jones took action before any indictments came down AS HE SHOULD HAVE - but to you and everyone else here on the board you're choosing the alleged victim's side AT FACE VALUE , you are just as wrong and biased against UT for being UT. Again has this kind of situation ever happened at UK ? If so, do they "foster" a culture of indifference and total disregard towards females ? Answer me please .
