I definitely agree. I just don’t think it adds up to UT being a clear title contender at this point. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Maybe they are. They are ahead of us in more than one metric that the selection committee uses. I just can’t think that their best win is Baylor or Illinois and also take them seriously as a juggernaut.

I think Baylor will end up being very good. They have that young talent that can mesh with the older guys late in the year. I just don’t know about Omier, he is good but always seems to disperse in big games I’ve watched.

I realize it probably will not happen and hopefully not, of course, but how incredible would it be, after winning the College World Series, the Vols went on to win the National Championship in football AND basketball ?? Geez … The Ultimate Turkey !!!

Hopefully they don’t come close but their AD has done an amazing job having them competitive in all major sports.

As far as UT vs Tosu .. I despise both of them so badly it will be impossible to root for either one .. it’s like Duke Vs UL in hoops .. there can be no winner . As bad as I loathe Tosu I guess I’d prefer them to beat UT , then get blasted by someone like Arizona St or Boise St or Russia , Iran or Iraq .
