I understand where you're coming from, but Butch Jones isn't getting paid to beat up on Vandy & UK - he's getting paid to beat Bama, and in that he is failing miserably. Vol fans like to bask in the glory days that are very unlikely to ever return. Losing to them does chap my behind, but they deserve the ridicule that comes their way.
UT owns us and nobody can deny that, but much like Indiana basketball fans, UT football fans live in the glory days of 20 years ago and talk and act like they're still one of college football's elite programs.
TN Football has not done much lately. They got their *** kicked Saturday. TN football is not recruiting the top class every year, KY Basketball team has. They have had the top class every year and every where that coach has been he has been caught cheating.

Three of jones' four recruiting classes have been top 10 and the other was top 25. Tennessee had a top 25 class the year before he arrived as well.
Tennessee should have the talent and depth to not be dominated by Alabama. We were banged up when we played them as well and competed better.
The basketball argument is pretty lame. Much harder to win a tournament than a bowl game or four team playoff.
I know I shouldn't take the bait, but I will. The vacated Final Fours at other schools where Cal had coached were due to the rogue actions of others outside Cal's knowledge or control. Yeah, since he was the coach when it happened you can nominally put the blame on him if it makes you feel better. As for his time at UK, if you have knowledge of Cal cheating at UK, please share it with the NCAA. Otherwise you line of attack fails.
While I hate Tennessee, they are really really good. Their injuries have caught up to them but I don't see them losing another game this season until the title game in a rematch against bama

I agree with you 100% i don't think butch is the answer for TN, however TN is not getting the TOP recruiting class every year like KY basketball.
No, but they're getting classes that are top 5 the last few years... Some years higher than 5... A good coach should take talent like that and win the SEC... UT has a hard time winning the east, they have to have luck to be where they are now, 1 game ahead of UK... No way UF should be ahead of UT....

Speaking of football, UT has disappeared from the national power teams.. They haven't been relevant in 15 years... They haven't beaten Florida in 12 years... UK beat UT with a no named wide receiver at QB and didn't throw the ball, maybe 1 time... Rocky top wasn't so rocky that day... 20 games without beating a ranked opponent on the road... It's been a long time since Phillip Fulmer... You should have got down on your knees and begged Kiffen not to leave... Just bad times in Vol country... I can't say I'm disappointed, with all the thugs and gun hands that UT get, it's no wonder that OLE BLUE ran off.....
