I think he still has a ton of potential, but clearly something is off right now. I dont know basketball well enough to judge, but it is hard to see what they are trying to do offensively. Then again, I feel like the game overall had devolved into playground style. Either you have the talent to just win 1v1 matchups or you lose. But again, I don't know enough to even judge.

I do believe, sadly, that this years team has thrown in the towel. Gaines was the only guy I saw giving everything he had out there. He seems like a real fighter. For the rest, looks like lost confidence now and disappointment.

From the high of just 2 seasons ago, it does feel pretty low right now.

Where are the leaders on this team? It takes more than pushing guys in the chest. You also have to lead by example. When you've demanded everything from yourself, you've earned the right to do the same from others. Until then, dig deeper and keep the focus on what you can do. Make every cut your best, every screen, every box out, every transition run out, every defensive stance.

Simply put, there is not enough talent on this roster to give anything less than the absolute best effort possible and expect a win. This is not the attitude I see from this team.

If CCC is the problem, get him a mentor or some support. Jim has to make that call. He needs to fully believe as belief starts at the top. Go back and watch the speech he gave at the start of summer training in Ep1 of The Foundation. Does he seem inspired and full of optimism? To me, he actually seemed rattled and unsure.

I want this program to achieve what we all hope is possible. 2 seasons ago I was convinced CCC was the guy to do it. I've not given up yet. But maybe he needs some help right now.
Posters on the Football Board made Fitz into a great coach, you all can do it too.

What? Fitz made Fitz into a great coach. Sure put the muzzle on Felis Sylvester.
OOPS! I didn't think I needed my sarcasm warning on that one. I also didn't mention that Wrassler is responsible for Hank being the defensive coach he now is. The power of the Board!

Oops, fell for the head fake on that one. I thought you were implying that Fitz was great only in the minds of the fans. It's funny how the Felix Sylvester narrative completely went away with 2-3-5-5-3-3-5-1-3-6-5-7-8.
