By "terrible" you mean, "terrifically great" in the case of Heartbreak Ridge, right?

True story: I once knew the USMC colonel who was the technical adviser on that movie. First day he has to break it to them that no Marines fought in the Korean War battle of Heartbreak Ridge where Gunny won the Medal of Honor - all US forces in that battle were Army. So, they rewrote a couple lines of dialogue where Gunny talks about being in the Army first, then the Marines...I guess it was either that or change the name of the movie to Chosin Reservoir, which doesn't have the same ring...Gotta love Hollywood.

I love Heartbreak Ridge, but objectively there are some major problems with it. I bet I’ve watched 50+ times...lots of great moments to offset the stupid stuff.

Plan 9 From Outer Space is my favorite so-bad-it’s-good movie.

I don’t consider Heartbreak Ridge to be terrible. It has a 6.9 on IMDB.

I've got a group of friends that I've watched Troma and Full Moon movies with for decades now. I've seen too many of each to count.

Richard Elfman's Forbidden Zone, David Lynch's Dune, and W.D. Richter's The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension are all mostly pretty awful. But I still like 'em because I watched them a lot as a kid.

As an aside, Richter wrote Big Trouble in Little China.

I can't help it, but I love me some bad 80s and 90s action movies. I actually bought Under Siege on Youtube a few months ago. Not to rent, just to watch once and get it out of my system, but actually bought it so I can watch Steven Seagal kick terrorist *** over and over again while barely moving.

Or getting a hair out of place.

I'm sure I'll get crucified for this one, but with the exception of Empire Strikes Back I don't think the original Star Wars trilogy movies are all that good. But I still love them for pure nostalgia.

People really aren't listing "terrible" movies. Many of these have found success or a fanbase later on, even if they were cheesy.

Aliens 3, Alien Resurrection, Prometheus... thought these were much better than people give them credit for, and highly entertaining.

Cop Out, I think while not good, is almost as funny as The Other Guys. It was just a bad plot and bad direction.

Hard Rain. Flood movie with Morgan Freeman and Christian Slater.

The Wrong Turn movies.. all of them (well 1 and maybe 2 weren't consider "bad").

I agree.

Maybe we should define what is "terrible"

There are movies I hate, Napoleon Dynamite, that may not be objectively terrible.

I would define it as something rated 5.0 or lower on IMDB or something under 50% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Can’t help it, I watch “The Warriors” and “Heartbreak Ridge” every time they’re on. You drawn to any clunkers?

The Warriors was cool

“the furies” scared the **** out of my 8 year old self

Original “Evil Dead” is a quirky one I like - it’s probably considered bad

Burt Reynolds had a couple of delightful stinkers (Gator)

I don’t see many terrible movies listed here. Terrible to me is on a whole other level. This is by far the worst movie I have ever seen. I have no idea how it made to rental store shelves in the early 2000’s... but it was so bad, we loved it.

It includes a shot of the actor’s trailer by mistake, a machete thrown over head that doesn’t spin, and a guy holding what is supposed to be another guy’s severed head whom is clearly just wearing a black shirt.

When I need a good laugh, I’d watch this.
