Yes, we can agree to disagree but blue-chip ratios are industry determined and if you look at the list you will see that they do, in fact, project success. Just do a roster to roster comparison in each position relative to industry evaluation and the disparity is clear btw PSU and any other B10 program. Have they underperformed? Yes. But this was not a recruting problem; I think James hit the ceiling in terms of talent acquisition given the resources available to him. It was a coordinator problem; pieces did not fit either scheme. This cost him his job.We can agree to disagree.
What we are seeing is that CJFs recruiting was good from an overall standpoint, but....
1. Has too many holes. He was great at recruiting DBs and RBs, but WR, DT and LB are major holes that opponents take advantage of.
2. Scheme and personnel mismatch. I think Allar is the prime example here.
I don't think our talent advantage is what we think it is, because we don't have enough talent in certain areas.
