Any of you guys tried this?

My brother, who is 44 years old, is about to start it. His doctor makes it sound like the fountain of youth.

After doing a little research, sounds more to me like a fast track to a heart attack or prostate cancer.

Told my brother to hold off on the replacement therapy and try some other options.

Just curious if any of you guys have tried it.

I tried it and it was horrible for me...I have leukemia and they told me it would be ok, but it blew me up like a ballon and was horrible for me. The Drs told me me to never do it again...something about my marrow.

Has he considered the possibility that robust heterosexual behavior may just not be his thing? His body is telling him something. He probably should just listen.

LOL, yeah, I've been gigging him that his inner homosexual is trying to come out.

Before I did that I would try to naturally boost testosterone level by:
  1. Losing Weight.
  2. High-Intensity Exercise like Peak Fitness (Especially Combined with Intermittent Fasting)
  3. Consume Plenty of Zinc.
  4. Strength Training.
  5. Optimize Your Vitamin D Levels.
  6. Reduce Stress.
  7. Limit or Eliminate Sugar from Your Diet.
  8. Eating Healthy Fats.

Don't waste your time Dsmith. Try as you might, you'll never change your ovaries into balls.

Haven't, and would never. Heard too many horror stories about side effects.

Seems there's not nearly as much research on it as with estrogen therapy for women, but we found out that that was giving people cancer after years of all sorts of women doing it. But there has been evidence of increased risk of heart attack and stroke, with some studies also showing testosterone replacement to be not superior to placebo for men with typical age related lower testosterone levels. So it may be a bunch of hype that puts you at risk.
