Under 59.

It's going to fun listening to Gary and Vern get angry as this game goes along. Already whining about calls.

Damn they're still whining about a call from 8 minutes ago. Graphics and all.

I don't agree, but we can agree to disagree.

Edit.....Not sure where the crown of the helmet came into play?
The crown of the helmet has nothing to do with targeting. It's forcible contact to the head or neck of a defenseless player. That was targeting on Harris.

Not only was he engaged in trying to make a tackle, he had the offensive player's hand on his facemask and couldn'te see it coming.

I'd argue that he wasn't defenseless because he was trying to make a play. His fault he didn't pay attention. And Dicky Lyons would disagree too I bet.

Not like the dude tried to kill him, but as a defender you lick your chops at that kinda opportunity.

Targeting wasn't a rule when Dicky played here. All I am saying is the way the rule is written, Harris is a defenseless player and he was hit in the head by the opposing player. Whether or not he should have been paying attention has zero to do with it. By the letter of the law, he was a defenseless player and it was targeting.

Exactly. For some reason Bernard in the playoffs didn't get a targeting call when he got a dirty hit on him which was the start of the dirty play in the game. It was absolutely pathetic that they didn't call a penalty and gave the Steelers the ball on a no call targeting penalty. Instead of the bengals having the ball at the 5 yard line Pittsburg went on to score. It was a 14 point swing and that no call was blatant cheating in order to give Pitt the win.

And I was just tryin to say that it's a BS rule. I respect you as a poster so I am not going to argue with you. You bring a lot to this board.
