I'm tired of saying that, Damnit! I'm tired of the land thieves winning the conference. I'm tired of watching teams like Baylor, Iowa State, and Kansas State progress each season while we regress. Also tired of wasting top 5 in recruiting and not being a better team than this. I have stuck my Herman long enough. Sick of saying they weren't prepared enough. No, Coach Herman, you and your staff are out-coached week in and week out. We lost to to a bunch of three-star and lower recruits that most past on. Let that sink in, Coach Herman.

Told you they were going to have a solid game at K State

You know Matt Campbell is the first Iowa State coach to beat all the Big 12 teams.

Texass is like that blowhard boxer who runs his mouth like Ali but has a chin like Cooney.
Always running that mouth about how great they are until they finally get a chance with the number 25 contender and get KO'd in the second round.
Then, they go off and blame the trainer or cut man.

Iowa State isn't getting any credit not because everyone hates Texass so much but because Texass sucks.

We suck too but we acknowledge it and own it. Texass fans neither acknowledge it nor own it. They think they belong in the upper echelon with the Bama's and Buckeyes' of the world with nothing to justify it. That's why we all laugh when Texass loses. It just becomes one big soap opera in Austin. It's entertainment at its best.

Sounds like TVZ has sour grapes. Coming on here telling everyone Texas is the it factor and will win the Big 12 going to playoffs as a contender. Your boy is not getting it done. Your fans are screaming for his head. Hilarious. But I think they should give the crying coach one more year.

I don't think anyone important is screaming to fire Herman.

Iowa State deserves credit for what they did yesterday.
They made a statement early with OLine play.

Texas is a young team on defense.
They have 3 seniors on their 2 deep. The young players need to be able to change games on defense.
They have had the chance the last two weeks and have looked much better.
The next two games and the bowl game will tell a lot.
I actually feel sorry for the team who has to play Texas in the bowl game. Those practices are going to help with a lot of young players on defense.

Yeah but WVU is not young and should have won 7 plus. According to you and suckie. Even though they have put in 28 first time players including walk on guys because of injuries.

You were the one saying WVU was going to get blown out by K State.
I told you WVU wasn't that bad.

Point is...

Give Iowa State some credit because when WVU beats Texas people do the same thing and it is forgotten that there was another team on the field.

Its a shame the sports media pretends the BIG 12 is only Texas and Oklahoma--couldn't be further from the truth.

If you’ve been such a tool for the last couple of years and really aren’t a WVU fan you have legit issues.

BTW bawabawahahahahahaha!!!! Texas is the most underachieving program in America. Aaaahahahaha!

They have an idea on how to play defense in the Big 12
The question becomes how fast can their young secondary get to the needed level.

You seen glimpses of it.

It is all adjustments and being the vanguard of the change instead of being behind the change.

You have to create pressure and the better you are with less people.
If needed you have to play man coverage on the back end.

At least a combination of zone and man.

The coaching in the Big 12 has drastically improved on the defensive side of the ball.

ESPN had an article about it. How the Baylor/TCU game in 2011 was all offense and in 2019 it was all defense.
Compare that to LSU/Bama.


I think the Big 12 is comfortable where they are at because their football is now in the SEC at most of the major schools.
Similar to the wishbone from the SWC.

The coaching staff at Texas really believes they can get the needed players to defend these offenses

Wow! Bad loss for Texas and Big XII against Georgetown.

Remember, Georgetown’s only loss is to Penn State.

This Texas loss would have helped us if the Penn State secret scrimmage would have been a game and we could have published the results.

But for now, this Texas loss hurts us and the league. Thanks Texas!

I thought our Pompous Texas fan said UT had a chance to be an elite team. Elite teams don't lose to a team who lost to Penn State.

Maybe we will get lucky, and he will start posting on someone else's board. It was so nice not having Keatonscorner posting anymore only to get the same style of posting from the Texass fan. Is there an athletic program the gets less with more than Texas?

I'll answer for him.

We just got a new defensive coach from Michigan. Luke Yaklich who was under Beilien. This will make this team to be reckoned with. Our players long and lengthy 4 and 5 star players who will soon be NBA players. Shaka has all his pieces in place for a Big 12 run. Texas will make sweet 16 and possible final 4. Shaka is just now getting all 100% his players. Shaka won the NIT last and will be far and above the best coach in Big 12.

Just something that happens in college basketball.

The point about the Akron game wasn't the fact that you won by 10.
It was they scored 84 points.

Even Huggins has said you need to get better on the defensive end.

I don't get your point.
College Basketball is about responding after a loss.
Georgetown has proved they are a legit team right now.
Texas is carrying a loss now so you have to see how they respond.

Your most important game during the season is after your first Loss or when you find yourself down 15 for the first time.
Texas won't make a deep run unless they can respond during the game.

Texas's offense is not good enough to win a game in the 80's. Pretty soft schedule coming up for the horns.
