just lost to UT-Arlington at home. UTA was KenPom No. 82 coming into the game, so no pushover (a cool 99 spots ahead of DePaul). Hope Shaka can pull things together before the Big 12 season ... we need that game to stay as a Top-100 win.

Nice win for Texas last night. Trailed by 11 (in Austin) at the half but won by 9 over a good Alabama team that Dayton narrowly beat in their season opener before the Flyers big man (Josh Cunningham) went down with an injury. Texas has some athletes, but is not a great three point shooting team. Will be interesting to follow their progress.
