Anyone have any really bad texting or email experiences due to not proofreading before you hit "send"? Just recently, I meant to send a guy a congratulatory text for being named Senior Vice President at a local bank. I meant to say "Saw where you were promoted to Sr VP, good job!", unfortunately, what actually got sent was "Sorry you were promoted to Senior Vice president . . . " He said he took it as a joke (at least I hope he did) :grimace:

Memo to self: Do NOT hit send until you read the message all the way through.

Once sent an email blasting the unethical tactics of opposing counsel to one of my co-counsel. Only problem was I hit reply instead of forward. But hey, at least my co-counsel got it too.

The other day a coworker sent out a somewhat nasty group text about our boss, and accidentally included the boss in it.

Luckily boss was on vacation that week and coworker had vacation the very next week, so there was two whole weeks for the tension to settle down.

This. This, folks, is why we read Cat Paw Paddock every day. Posts like the one above are what we fight for. Posts like the one above are what make this country great.

A couple years ago my mom asked me if I was watching a UK basketball game on the SEC Network. I replied "We don't get the SEX Network" at work.

In the early days of texting, I meant to text my weed man and ended up texting my Dad, "How much for an O, what time you get off work?"

A painter texted me the other day saying he needed to get more cock. He immediately responded that he did voice text and didn't proof read (he needed caulk). I told him it was pride week, that he didn't need to be ashamed.

Not that there is necessarily anything wrong with that or anything, right?
