I still remember that guy who was a mod on Akron's board coming over to the football free board or TU General and complaining that TU couldnt be a legit program because we didnt have a message board, lulz.

He made some crack about playing a wheat field or tumbleweeds or something, maybe a year after the soccer complex was built. Somebody posted a photo of it and compared it to their high school pitch and I chimed in with somebody huge (maybe Bruce Arena?) saying Tulsa's playing surface was in the Top 10 in the country, etc.

They've got a great facility now, comparable to TU's, but at the time, it was a massive interwebs failure.
