How many other bluebloods would that have happened to?! I’ve never seen it! It was OBVIOUS to EVERYONE watching that the shot was out of his hands in time! How was that call justifiable?!
every one of them? it was the right call as much as it hurt. This isn't a conspiracy lol

No doubt on replay he was still pushing the ball up (right arm wasn’t extended). It was the right call.

It was obvious it was out initially when I looked at it but that was looking at the shot clock on the screen. That clearly showed .01 when it was out of his hands but the shot clock above the basket clearly showed it at 0 and it was still in his hands. It was the right call in the end but it's so confusing when you have the two different clocks not synched.
It's impossible to sync them exactly when they're overlayed like that.

Good Lord! If people would read the GD thread, I wouldn’t be getting all these @‘s! I’ve stated SEVERAL times that I did NOT see the replay with the top of backboard shot lock with the light!

Are you sure? Seems like I’ve seen it happen. Maybe not.
You can challenge certain aspects related to fouls. You can appeal that a flagrant foul should be assessed on a play even if it wasn’t called on the floor, and you can ask for confirmation of who a foul was assigned to. I think you can also challenge calls related to whether or not a player was in the restricted arc on block/charge situations. However, you can’t challenge that a foul that was called never happened and get it entirely wiped off in college.

If you didn’t see the replay then why did you make a thread saying it was OBVIOUS the ball was out of his hand and complaining it wouldn’t happen to any other blue blood? Probably a good idea for life in general to not be so confident about things you actually haven’t seen.
I saw the initial replay several times, in which he did get the shot off when watching it. At that time it was the ONLY replay they showed. Again, I left the room immediately afterwards. Did you not see that in my post?! Clearly you did.

Probably be a good idea to not be such a tool with your posts. Especially seeing as how I stated I left the room after they showed the initial replay. Oh, and btw, I don’t need you or anyone else on this board to give me in general life advice. Thanks.

Correct. That's what I meant. The fact that Chandler fouled him can't be reviewed like it can in the NBA.

We should have challenged that call!

This is why im in total favor of more coaches challenges and more replays. The game can go an extra hour for all i care, if it means Kentucky continues to review and reverse calls that always seem to screw us in real time.

More challenges and reviews helps UK, and it would also hurt Duke and Kansas.

Bingo! If you can’t challenge a damn foul call, I honestly don’t see the benefit. I mean, I reckon in very rare situations a challenge would be worth having. However, it’s the FOUL calls and TRAVELING calls that are missed the most by FAR! I don’t think you can challenge a traveling violation, can you? I mean, if you can’t challenge a foul, I’m sure you can’t challenge a travel either. Could be wrong. Idk.

I still don’t think there was enough there to overturn it. It was like .1 either way off or on. I just know damn well if it happened the same way against us it wouldn’t be called off.
THIS! However, we have some “Kentucky fans” on this board that seem to think that EVERY blueblood would’ve had that basket taken away. LMFAO!

Even from the first replay from the side it looked good, the announcer even said it was good. The behind the shot was clearer, but it was damn close.

It was 1000% clear enough to overturn. The shot clock in the bottom right wasn’t official. The only thing that matters is the one behind the backboard and it was clearly still in his hand when the light was on.

Yeah I know it was not official. I’m talking about the first replay, even the announcer thought it was good. It appeared like he got it off in time from that angle.
