And he has a huge recruiting class coming in-(Borderline Top 25) with four 4* players coming in 2016 with one already enrolled...he isn't going anywhere unless it is something like LSU, Oklahoma, Texas or aTm...no real need...access to a NYD Six Bowl at Houston with a large recruiting pool for at worse a lot of high quality 3* Houston area players.
Kelly now being available may muddy things up, but Herman is ready to jump on the Texas or A&M job, whichever opened up first. If Kelly doesn't take the Titans job he will have his pick next coach firing season. If he stays off the sideline, there will be some coaches sweating bullets next fall, very likely Strong and Sumlin at the top of that list, winner gets Kelly, the other gets Herman. Running qbs take such a beating in the NFL, Cam is 250+ which helps him take the punishment, not many can take the pounding.

Would cost a lot of money to get an experienced coach, and I am not sure UK would make someone the highest paid coach in the country, even then it's not guaranteed they would come. I am not sure UK could buy their way out of this mess if they could.

I would say, absolutely.
UConn is a flagship state school; a strong academic institution as opposed to commuter school; and has surpassed UofL in basketball.
Clemson beat everyone including Notre Dame...only Undefeated team in the nation...Houston while very good still has one loss...
