We'll be fine, OP. Clemson was an Elite 8 team last year, we shot like crap, they played their best game of the season, we played our worst game of the season, we were 11/18 from the foul line, we were 7/27 from three, our PG leader was in foul trouble basically the whole game, everything went right for Clemson (even a desperation banked three..I knew UK was destined to lose this game after that BS), it was a very tough road crowd/environment that was jacked the whole game, etc etc...and yet, UK was in the game until the clock hit zeroes. We'll be fine, I promise. We will have more losses but also a lot more wins this year. We got a chance to makeup for this loss this weekend against a top 10 team. Again, we'll be fine.

I agree with you. I had gotten to the place I didn't even want to watch the games and I hated feeling that way. At least I care that we lost again.

OP, I stopped watching UK basketball back when Wiscy got bailed out by refs in the 2015 FF. I kept up with UK some after that, but not at all after the 2020 debacle. I had forgotten that it was possible to feel disappointed instead of just not giving a damn.

We were never going to go undefeated.

We'll go into conference play with a maximum of 2 losses.

If we get past Gonzaga, we'll go into conference play with one loss.

Went right to sleep after. Losses in any sport do not control my life post game anymore. Think it comes with getting older.

I'm not upset. It was at South Carolina and the refs were allowing SC to mug Kentucky all night while putting 4 fouls on Butler.
I would have liked to have seen us more muscled up in order to fight through the physical play. But even if we were, the refs would have fouled everybody out. It was an away game with homer refs. It happens.

I was right there too still pissed today over the loss and what could've been done differently. The 3 hours of sleep that I actually got doesn't help but I'll probably stay pissed until 10 p.m. Saturday night lol. I love having the passion back for UK basketball I'm glad the Grinch that stole it is in Fayetteville now!
