How many times have the 'cats wilted in the spotlight. Our biggest game probably since Gonzaga or maybe the Taphorn Michigan game and they came up huge. Other than the first few minutes not even that many Cardiac 'Cats moments. Huge props to everyone involved with the program.

I believe the last time we finished second in the Big Ten was 1958-59 behind Joe Ruklick. What an achievement. Rivals the 95 run to the Rose Bowl, especially given the expectations or lack of same for this team..

True. And even more amazingly, there were only 3 teams who matched or exceeded this team: the 1931, '32 and '32 teams under Dutch Lonborg. They won the Big and finished 2nd twice. Other that that complete futility until this season. Props to Collins and the entire organization.

Yeah, I'm sure most of all us will say we were nervous pretty much up until Rutgers took out their seniors. Usually a 10-point lead with a minute to go is pretty safe, but we've been through too much. Instead, despite the 6-0 run by Rutgers at the end of the first half, they never really got it close in the second, even with Boo on the bench. Can't say enough about how Barnhizer, Nicholson, and Berry carried the team when the regular stars were having a rough night.
