Cats lost a lot from last season. Will be interesting to watch how KAH responds. Some high level transfers should help. Halperin may be the best player in the nation after all is said and done.

Honest question...why don't the women lacrosse players wear helmets and pads like the men do?? Seems like a very violent sport??

Women play by very different rules. Bashing people with a stick gets you kicked out of the game in WLAX and then your team has to play a player down for a period of time.

Amazing that they only play 2 games outdoors at Martin Stadium. The indoor facility is a major competitive advantage for NU.

The Lake Show made its way to Western New York and came away with a solid win over the #5 team in the country.

Penn State isn't good and the 'Cats proved it. More than doubled them behind the best player in the country.

'Cats crush the Terps 16 - 4. Campbell leads with 4 goals, and Maddy T. unusually quiet with only 2.

Defense was spectacular. And Maddy was double teamed from the opening draw. Only downside was watching her limp off the field in Q4 after a rough hit. Hope she’s okay.

Cats struggled a bit in the first half after a 4-0 lead, but hit their stride in H2, just missing a running clock at the end. The B10+ PxP coverage was done by an overwhelmed USC (?) student who was apparently new to the sport. I watched with the audio muted, and it was still satisfying.

My son who lives in Pasadena was at the game, and said there were more (and louder) NU fans than USC.
