Familiar with that part of N Carolina
East Carolina has a decent fanbase

Travelled to a lot of stadiums following the Mountaineers over the years. Went to Greenville during RR and was welcomed by everyone. Great fans. Ironically the only problem was three drunk *** Wvu fans causing havoc and finally removed. Embarrassing as hell.

When the ACC breaks up there is a good chance Duke and Wake drop down
That leaves 2 P5 level schools in N Carolina
Maybe the state isn’t large enough for 3 Power Conference schools but makes East Carolina a valuable long term school.

Have to think long term. More than that WVU could take a leadership role in the Big 12 and create their own conference
