I could not find a thread on it in the Paddock. Spoilers will be posted.

As a child of the 80's I really like this show. I think it captures what was going on at that time in America.

I think the writers have done a great job to make the Soviet spies sympathetic.


They have gotten to the point where I am on edge every episode now.

They way they killed off Nina was unexpected and tremendous.

I watched and loved the first season. Now I watch it occasionally, but I'm kind of hit or miss. I agree it's a great show, though.

It's one of my favorite shows. I didn't like that they killed off Nina. I was hoping that somehow she would make it back to the US and live happily ever after.

Every episode does have you sitting on the edge of your seat. Something tells me the FBI is going to nab Martha this season, which will put Philip in danger. I also think Moscow can't just let Pastor Tim and his wife run around loose.

I think it's one of the best shows on TV. Unfortunately they had to kill Nina - her story line wasn't going anywhere. They made a huge mistake sending her back to Russia.

If you don't watch, watch the first episode of season 1 and you should be hooked.

I agree they made a mistake sending her back to Russia. Her storyline after that just took away from the main story. Had she remained in the US, she still could have been playing Beamer or vise versa in the hunt for Philip and Elizabeth. Paige and Pastor Tim is now the main story, along with Martha.

What happens to the scientist now? Do they abandon that storyline? Seems to me they need to toe up that loose end.

I was shocked they allowed Nina to live as long as she did. When Stan finds out he's going to go even further into the abyss. Oleg will probably defect.

I think most definitely Oleg is defecting. I would not surprise me if his father pushed for Nina's death because he didn't want Oleg associating with her. It seems like he really like the American life.

I'm not sure the Russians would trade the scientist for a spy. The scientist is important to their stealth technology. Once a spy is uncovered or captured, his usefullness is over anyway. The nudity is one reason I wanted them to keep Nina alive. I hate it when they kill off women who do nude scenes. I will be shocked if Oleg doesn't eventually defect, especially if he finds out his father had anything to do with Nina's death.

You could be correct. They just haven't introduced another character that resembles someone they would want to trade.

Fantastic series.

Stan is going to start suspecting things very soon, IMO.

Martha needs to be offed with a quickness.

Agree about Oleg defecting.

My favorite show. Was really surprised when Nina was offed, man, she was hot, but I thought Olegs dad was going to help her, that's why I was so surprised. In next weeks previews, it showed Martha on the phone and sounded like she was speaking Russian. Anyone else hear that or was it my imagination. Could she be a spy also?

It is a theory that Oleg's father did what he could to get her killed, to break off his son's infatuation and association with her. He told Oleg that aligning himself with a traitor is getting himself into trouble that even the father couldn't get him out of.

Please get rid of Pastor Tim. Right in front of Paige would be nice. (Note, the actress that plays Paige turned 18 last year, so all deviant thoughts are cool now)

Martha chick drives me bonkers. Wish they'd have killed her off too.

I think Martha is going to be the main story line this year, along with Pastor Tim. Both have the ability to get Philip and Elizabeth caught.

Pastor Tim knows they are spies. Beamer might put Martha under surveillance, and notice Philip coming to her apartment on one of his visits.

I think that is why they made a big deal out of Martha going to dinner with that agent and telling him that she is seeing a married man.

Stan already thinks Phillip is doing his wife. Interested to see where this leads.

We haven't had an Elizabeth bare butt shot in a couple of weeks. I'm sure we'll be treated to that or some side boob tonight. [banana]

Read somewhere that the plan is for one more season after this one, so it wouldn't surprise me if **** goes off the rails for the Jennings by the season finale.

I also suspect that for all of the worrying about Paige spilling the beans on her folks, it will be Henry who ends up doing them in. His relationship with Stan is leading to something.

I half expected Gabriel to take Martha out once he got Phillip out of the house.

I think Phillip defects and works with Stan. There's no way Elizabeth will go along with that, so I think she'll end up dead.

Oh, and the daughter can't die soon enough for me. I hate that shoe-gazing c***.

I think there's a part of him that is. And it clearly bothers Elizabeth.

I think he also feels really guilty about dragging her into this. Most of the people the Jennings use as sources are kinda shady or looking for money or whatever. Poor old Martha was a dupe from the beginning.

And, hoo boy, is Stan gonna be pissed when he finds out that the hunch he had in the very first episode of the series was 100% dead-on. I can see him turning Henry on his folks and having him spy on them. What a punch in the gut that would be.

Two different, totally unrelated people know who they are. Its only a matter of time before Stan is on that list.

Martha just went off the rails in the last episode. Gabriel knows that if he kills her, it will push Phillip over the edge. He definitely feels guilty about duping her into spying. If she is not willing to go to Moscow, she may very well wind up dead anyway.

If Phillip defects, it would be better for him to defect to the CIA than the FBI. The CIA is an intelligence agency and is more pragmatic about the dirty deeds spies sometimes have to do to get intel. The FBI is a law enforcement agency. If they find out Phillip had anything to do with killing any of their agents there will be hell to pay. He was involved with at least two FBI agent deaths. Of couse, this is a TV show so who knows?

Is there somewhere to catch all of seasons online? I haven't been able to find anywhere so that I could go back and watch it to catch up. Last I checked, even the FX app only had a few episodes.

The fact that the secretive Russian lady organized the Martha plane/pilot deal is going to come into play somehow.

It's going to blow up.

She's definitely up to something.
