Good piece on the 'Cats. I didn't know that statistically this isn't even the best Collins defense.

This is not, statistically, Northwestern’s best defense of the last decade. The adjusted efficiency number (94.7) ranks third in that span. Five times in the Collins era, the Wildcats have been harder to score on inside the 3-point line than they are this season. But given what happened in the previous five years, and given what could have happened if this winter was no different, this particular defense has the best timing. “We knew to change,” Audige says, “we had to change.”

Classic line here, and I don't think Doyle would disagree, lol.
"According to my records, the last time a Northwestern basketball player got applause upon entering a room was anytime Tim Doyle walked into the Mark II Lounge. Now, this team is being recognized for what they can do on the court."​
I've been to the Mark II and was never sober enough at that point to applaud Tim Doyle or anyone else.
