Been trying to tear it down since 2020, tonight was just him hiking his leg one last time. What funny to me is the attitude of our former players. Most didn’t love DJ but all of us wanted Theiro and Z, we loved them. They played with a chip on their shoulder like we broke up with them or something. I guess it’s all about players loyalty to Cal.
TyTy Washington talking crap on Twitter, just goes to show the kind of players he brought in, they have no loyalty to our program.. Even though Pope got out coached and made zero adjustments and has some stuff to answer for, I’m still so glad that he is gone and not a part of our program.
Booing Wagner and Z was mistake imo. You could tell Wagner was hurt by it and he responded. All it did was give them extra motivation and something to focus on, rip away!!
We knew they would be focused and motivated. The surprising thing is we were not, Pope included.
That's not fair. We came out firing on all cylinders. Last night we found out what happens when you lose your point guard/best player and go up against a motivated Hall of Fame coach.
