So does my wife.
One of the funniest things I ever saw: some time back, 30 yrs. or so, 6 or 8 of us were cutting tobacco for the Uncle of one of my buds. Over in Willisburg. We were coming back from some little store at lunchtime, probably 95 in the shade, and see a little old woman push mowing a front yard that sat on @ a 45 degree angle, while her old man sat in the driveway watching her from the comfort of his air-conditioned Cadillac.

Yeah got the sprayer all lined up with no where to go. Raining every day seems like.

Welcome to my world.

There's a solution though. Scotts makes a weed and feed that uses the walk behind spreader. You can use that anytime, as it actually wants rain (or a sprinkler of no rain) to wash it into the soil. It's what I use in the spring and fall to kill dandelions and it works great.

Just mowed shorter than I like and put some weed and feed down. Supposed to rain tomorrow so that'll get washed in. Then let it grow a couple weeks, mow, and overseed.

Got the greenest lawn on the street, sun shining, and an ice cold hefeweizen.

Let the games begin.

Oddly, I have better luck with Sta Green over Scott’s...I have a service treat the front yard, but I do the back and sides myself. Too much $$ to have the whole 1.25 acres done professionally. I finally got to mow yesterday...it was too wet, but I had no choice. I cut it really high (4.5”) so I’ll hit it again one it dries out
