Aside from Brea the team shot 25% from 3 point range, the same as Arky shot, so the team really had an off shooting game.
It's no big deal that Brea's percentages will go down because I doubt we see the rest of the team shoot as low as 25% more
than one game the rest of the year.

I like the fact that they moved the ball and got the ball to the post players in scoring position. Never saw a Cal coached team move the ball that much.

The movement, spacing, aggressiveness, and pace are a joy to watch. We shot poorly from 3 in the 1st half and still scored a ton and were comfortably ahead. We’re not a gimmicky live by the 3 die by the 3 offense we’re an extremely modern perimeter oriented offense that will be very tough to stop consistently. Remarkable job by Pope putting this team together in less than a month as the pieces really fit nicely. Imagining the future of this program where we have a dynamic point guard who is a good 3 point shooter running this is very exciting as well.

Best part of the game, I watched it. If the last guy was still here I would not have watched.

Other good part is Butler had an off game, Oweh had an off offensive game, it did not hurt, against lesser team but still did not hurt.

There is more ball movement on this team than there is at a male strip club.

GO BIG BLUE!!!

If this team gets hot with several guys hot from three they might be able to blow out just about anybody, especially since they are going to be at least above average on defense.

Things jam up a bit when Garrison and Chandler rotate in ... I'm curious to see how much Pope uses them against Duke. UK needs Williams on the floor, bottom line. He owns the glass close to Oscar status and is a much better defender than Oscar was.

I gotta think Williams and Carr play as many minutes as they can handle against Duke and Almonor, who has exceeded my expectations as much as anybody, gets most of the backup minutes at the 4/5.
