Quite a few good matchups this week. Might knock a few teams out of the playoffs ... wait, no - might knock a few programs - and possibly schools - out of existence. Oh the humanity!

BR-SR: I see SR scoring more then vs. LA but not stopping Rice offense. I don't think Rice gets caught looking ahead to Armageddon next week with the rivalry. I'll say BR 49-28 ,Deep Blue looks pretty close.

MC-Bronco: Saw the Broncos at Rice I don't see this game playing that way at all. Comparative scores are meaningless. I'll say MC 35-20.

LA over PC 35-0. PC is DOA to this 1

Marmion -7, Fenwick -35, AC + 28, SI + 12, Tech -14, St Joe + 14

Marmion is a tight one against DLS, but I would not be surprised if DLS won

Of the two prediction sites, I've used the one w/ more "historical weighting" than the other.
Massey/USAToday has: SJ @ Leo (Leo 28 SJ 14)
Calpreps has:neutral field [2016] St. Joseph (Westchester, IL) 20, [2016] Leo (Chicago, IL) 14

In this instance, I like Calpreps. However, make your picks -- this is like money on the ground!

With all the bashing that Rice does about SR's neighborhood, maybe they play scared and Rita stays close. Unfortunately, I see Rice winning by at least 3 TD's.

Why would you care? Game is televised anyways. Is there some type of a Cubby award for most road fans in attendance that we weren't informed of?

Sympathy to Coach Andriano on the passing of his mother. Probably Montini's greatest fan as she always made it to all the Montini football games both home and away.

I really don't know what to expect from MC. I was not at the 4 o'clock game last Fri and the Rice game I was too far away to really break things down. I think Antonietti was back at C after missing first 5 and I know Brown was out. So not sure if O Line is finally intact etc. Not sure whats new on D.

I don't know, Dean. MC lost to Rita and Rice. I almost expect a miracle to occur where MC somehow falls into 8A where they will then find a way to lose to Marist.
