As I sit outside my house by my pool here in Florida with a chilly morning temps in the low 50s and fire pit going you are correct the coffee tastes absolutely outstanding this morning ....
I picked a perfect time to leave! Not much colder up here in PA. No scones here, enjoying an Amish made blueberry fry pie. 
Blood thins down here...it's chilly. What a day in college football. Upsets everywhere... Need 1 more win beating Maryland and PSU will have that home football game. The Ole Miss and Alabama games were surprising yesterday with so much on the line for them. Especially Alabama getting blown out. Poor Paul Finebaum will have to talk about SEC losses this week....
Truth! Couple of my friends were up visiting from down here groaning about all the snow in the mountains in PA while they are there.
The announcers in the Alabama game were saying that Alabama has only one game-changing WR. “Alabama can’t come back, not enough talent at WR.”

Traveling back today from Minneapolis to our snow whacked township. At least they got the power back on yesterday at 5 pm (much to my wife’s chagrin). And yes, that first taste of coffee this AM tasted sweet and a little bit salty from Gopher tears of despair (sorry @STPGopherfan , but a truly great guy!)
I’m still tasting the Sierra Nevada Torpedo I drank to get me through that. And the ones I had the rest of then evening to celebrate. So damn nerve wracking!
I sit in the admirals club awaiting my flight to Boston to make my holiday visit to my 86 year old mother before I'm grounded due to second/other hip replacement 12/4. Preparing for a two hour lecture on all my bad life's choices is certainly easier because of the fake punt

I’m back! Great workout! For some reason my Sunday morning workouts have almost always been top-notch these past three or so months, dunno why. I’m not going to overthink it.
I got in a good line. I sometimes (often?) forget myself at the gym and get a little too enthusiastic with my grunting. That happened today and I got a few sideeyes (they know me). “Sorry! Well, do you know why they won’t let deaf people join the army? You can hear us coming a mile away.” I’ll show myself out.
