Anyone else have a problem with the Cube? For the third week in a row this is like watching bad dial-up internet!

Yes, the Cube is awful. Tried watching the LWE vs Lockport game two weeks ago and it was unwatchable. Tried again this week watching the Brook vs Lockport game which was also unwatchable and gave up.

I got the video of the Rita/ LA and the HF/CS games very nicely.

I left the audio off to listen to the Rice game and baseball on television.

I checked my internet throu speed test and it's an 88mb download speed. So it is on their end. I sent the results last week to the cube tech person and nothing happened.

Video was great on OPRF LT game, but no sound. I thought LA SR game video was a little grainy and jerky.

Basically live streaming depends on several factors most likely cause is a weak internet signal from site origination. Again one of the many questions/issue I have for anyone live streaming and then throw in charging for it and it's at best a gamble from school to school. Those same issues got for Cube/NHSF and others....

Lemont does all their home and away games on the Cube where connectivity and quality of broadcast has been very clean all season. They have excellent production capability using Tricaster equipment and three cameras for all home games (one camera only for road games). They have solid 4G connectivity where there have not been any dropped or intermittant internet problems with the Cube thus far this season. You should check out their post game show replay each week on the Cube for an idea what brand of high end coverage they provide for their viewing audience. The issues you're seeing are probably more related to the inconsistent or unpredictable 4G or 3G connections in some communities and school sites as opposed to the Cube itself. There were numerous issues with NFHS all last season, but none with the Cube this season thus far.

Bingo!
Most of the connection problem come from upload problems at the site.
Even some of newer school have wireless problems out at the fields.

Lemont TV has been in this for years and no one does a better local origination.......and they also have a tremendous set up along with both strong wireless on the road along with I believe a wired connection at home so....
