This board is very representative of what I am seeing and hearing on the streets. There is no energy surrounding the DNC right now. We have had a Town Hall and a DNC debate in back to back nights and no one is even discussing them. Contrast that with the GOP. We are having major turnouts in the polls for our candidates. Consider me optimistic.

I caught highlights of the debate last night.

Hillary didn't look good IMO. Buggy eyed crazy look. A good candidate would destroy her in a debate. Listening to Sander... while many issues I would never agree with him on, he comes across as sincere in his beliefs and not someone that's going to pander or play sneaky games like Clinton would. I'd take him as President over her any day.

It will be fun to watch Trump, if he is the nominee, destroy her in a debate.

Didn't watch the debate - didn't watch the last GOP debate. I was listening to MSNBC a little this morning and they were gushing over how well the debate went. Then I flipped it to the POTUS channel on Sirius and they were pretty much ho-hum on it...the portion I listened to talked about the body language and how bad Hillary portrayed herself - words did not match her non-verbals.

Morning Joe was mostly gushing over how the debate went as it pertains to the moderators getting the candidates to engage each other and actually debate. In that perspective, I agree from what I saw of it and I saw some.

I have no idea what the OP is talking about. There is currently great excitement behind Bernie and his appearances. There is a large sector of the country that is in full agreement with his perspective on many of his talking points and are fully engaged.

The GOP contenders for the most part is doing nothing but soundbites and insults and that is getting a lot of press coverage. I don't translate that into excitement. I would say the public is receptive to both sides pretty equally and is similar to my opinion. They are dissatisfied with the whole group.

The GOP field is to big for me to want to listen to the little time each person gets during a debate. That field needs to be narrowed to at most 4 here in the very near future IMO.

I have a hard time believing anything Hillary says and I think Bernie is promoting a utopian dreamworld that is not acheivable.

It will be fun to watch how fast the rats jump off the Bernie ship after we see the results of the upcoming Southern primaries. Bernie has a zero chance of getting the nomination. If Hillary falters, Biden will get in.

NO, No, No, PLEASE no. Trump is awful. That would be guaranteeing a Hilary Presidency.
Trump is entertaining...and part of me is morbidly curious as to what his Presidency would look like.

As I have said from the beginning......If Trump is the nominee, if will beat Clinton. The big unknown is if Trump will get the nomination since he is not your typical politician and just might say ....screw this or just self destruct. Hillary routs any of the other Repubs.

It's a stupid statement, but luckily you will be bailed out, bc Trump won't be the nom.

What the hell. Error message says I do not have permission to review or comment on Rog's message. Can V predict what I am thinking?

At any rate, Trump is the only one that is going to shake the government up, IMO. Mario, Bernie and the rest are going to have business as usual, probably with bigger numbers and signed by D or R for distinction of party. Can the rest of the pack continue the recent trend of spending a trillion dollars more then we take in.? Can Bernie grow an economy with 90% tax rate?

I get the same sense about Sanders. There are a lot of things about his politics I may question, but I think he's the real WYSIWYG candidate. If I were able to vote in a dem primary, I would vote for Sanders over Hillary in a second. I still think Kasich is my first choice for president though.

Indoctrinated college and high school babies that's never had to work a day in their little life. They can't tell what Bernie or Hillary's stands for. They don't know what Socialists or Progressives means. Both are failed policies that have never work in any country in the past. It leads any country to a third rate power begging for handouts. Liberal indoctrination by college professors will do that. The animals run the zoo.

He was entertaining the first month of his campaign but he's just annoying now. And he'd be a horrible president.

The only problem is who they turning out for.

What are you optimistic about? I don't see anything at all to be optimistic about in general, but especially not the GOP side with Cruz and Trump in the lead.

I try imagining what it would be like. Aside from images of Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho flashing through my mind, I imagine he'd play the politics game at ease and deal (sellout) to whoever will work with him. You don't get to be as successful as him and not be able to work with people on a personal level. My cousin who closed a deal with him for a large national bank said public persona aside, he comes across as very direct and to the point. I would think behind closed doors he'd get along fine with many of the politicians in DC.

That was obvious from the beginning. Funny how none of the board whackos have actually admitted to being Trump supporters, yet, they leave evidence along the way.

Oh, he argued and called me all of the usual names he calls people when I said he was pining for Trump. He claimed it wasn't so, but has continued to jump to defend every time a negative post about Trump is made.

But it is difficult to explain a negotiating session when the receivers have never been exposed to any negotiation beside parent, kids or an instructor trying to get a grade raised.

People are normally not difficult in negotiations, if they become difficult, you either walk out, display a desire to close, or get your *** kicked by someone who knows they have the upper hand. That tests your guts and desire to risk not closing.
