Have to guess Chris Taylor.
Possibly the year that fool tried to suplex him?![]()
In 1973 Chris Taylor gave a guided tour of the lights to everyone he met.
Not only is that a right answer, but I missed it. I had a filter on looking at 1950-2025. Koll rocked the mat in 1948.Bill Koll?
Indeed. Bruce Kinseth went 5 for 5 in 1979.Kinseth
Mean Gene was a little too nice. He stuck four out of five in 1981, with the fifth being a mere 24 point win back in the superior decision days.Gene Mills?
I thought maybe Wade Schalles but I just looked him up and he was 4 out of 5 pins in both of his titles.Mean Gene was a little too nice. He stuck four out of five in 1981, with the fifth being a mere 24 point win back in the superior decision days.
Holy crap. There were three guys who did everyone dirty in 1948.Bill Koll?
Also pinned his way through the Big 10 tournament that year.Indeed. Bruce Kinseth went 5 for 5 in 1979.
I was really hoping not to go into the weekend with this one outstanding on the Iowa board. Thank you for that.
The third horseman of the apocolypse has entered the chat. Well done. The man - Howard Harris
Double credit. He did the quintuple in 69 and 70. In 70 he had a pigtail match to make it possible.Dan Gable
Not 100% sure but think kinseth pinned way thru big 10s too that yrIndeed. Bruce Kinseth went 5 for 5 in 1979.

Yep, Albright is not alone. Only 6 of the 11 won a title that year.Albright didn't pin 5 of 5 in 1986 though, because Kirk Trost of Michigan won the UNL title that year. Albright might have pinned five with two consolation matches, but five falls and a loss don't mean as much. He lost to Trost in the semis.
