It's getting close to this year's Heisman Trophy winner. While listeningto sportsradio this morning the question came up if you could pick the greatest or there best, not your favorite winner who would it be? I've been thinkingetting about it candidate this is a tough one also. To help me out I did take a look at the list of winnerst and I ended up choosing the one that popped into my mind first .

Bo Jackson.
This no doubt will have several and really there probably not a clear cut greatest winner. OFC

I freaking loved me some Barry Sanders. I remember one lions game that madden was calling and he said- if you miss a tackle on Barry, stay where you're at because its a good chance he's coming back that way. I was cracking up.

Joe Bellino of Navy passed away this year I think. He was the 1960 winner. All I remember about him is he was really small but very tough.

Greatest season is easily Barry Sanders. What he did his heisman season was insane.
Yes. Sorry you can't even begin to compare Herschel Walker, Bo Jackson, or any other RB to Barry Sanders' Heisman season.

Although, I think we have to tip our cap to Tim Tebow

Herschel Walker (jr): 17 tds
Bo Jackson (sr): 17 tds
Tim Tebow (so): 23 tds (and another 32 passing tds)
Barry Sanders (jr): 37 tds
