Anyone experienced or seen anything with their own eyes that just cannot be explained that would not necessarily make your "religious" but believe there's something beyond life. And I don't mean linebearded white louisville fans with their shorts halfway down their arses. Personally I definitely have witnessed a couple things that defy known laws of gravity and physics.

My wife was 2 months pregnant when we were looking for our first house. We went to look at this house of Goldsmith Lane near Senaca High School in Louisville. We liked the house a lot, but went downstairs in the basement and there was this bench along the wall that you ould lift up and store stuff in. My wife said she had a dream that her and a little boy were hiding from someone in that bench. We did not buy the house. 2 months later we found out we were having a little boy. 3 years later some guy raped 9 different women in their homes in that neighborhood. 3 or 4 of them were raped in front of their children. God warns us, but I wonder how many of those families blew of the warning they received and never thought of it again. If you believe in God you know more than this is possible, if you dont believe then life just seems to be a series of good and bad luck.

Had a time where the wife and I were going through a rough financial patch (obviously before I became a card-carrying Paddock member). It was really weighing us down and making it hard to get by. Out of the blue, my grandma in Florida just sent us a $500 check. We had never discussed our situation with anyone, and while generous with $20 here and there over the years she had never given out money like that. She said the thought just popped in her head and thought we might be able to use it while she was still here to give it.

Don’t know if it was a supernatural thing or some cosmic connection, and I never prayed for money or anything, but something had to be going on there.

I once saw an alien driving a Trans-Am, a bright green light in the distance that never got closer, a tree changed all four seasons in the span of 30 seconds, fish in an ocean-themed shower curtain began swimming while I was pissing and a female friend's face began to change shapes like it was melting.

That's the last time I ate a 1/4 oz of shrooms in one sitting.

My mom told me a story that when she first found out she was pregnant with my older brother, before she had told anyone, her mom called that afternoon and asked if she was pregnant. She said she had a dream about it.

Whether you believe or not, if you can't see that there are supernatural things, you aren't paying attention.

I also fully believe that mother's (women's) intuition is real. Whenever I need to make a big decision, I always ask my wife what her instincts tell her and go with that. She's always right.

No but I saw a fat chick eating yogurt with a shoe horn

I've had one very profound and abnormal experience that was shared by another person.....happened in Italy when we visited the Vatican for Christmas 1998

I once posted a five part story on here just to help get it out of my head

The Vatican is a slew-footed evil cesspit

driving down a four lane I was passing a early 80s van (we were both bookin' pretty good) when its hood popped up and blocked the windshield. I looked over at the right time to see the expression on the driver's face. While I did not see God, I think he did. Somehow he managed to get it pulled over. I stopped too. Pretty sure he needed a valium.

My grandmother had a dream about a funeral. She could see all of her kids at it except for her youngest daughter. A few weeks went by and she had the dream again, only this time, the daughter was there. My grandmother did not see or notice herself in the second dream. About a month later, my grandmother died.

I have been told of another dream that my grandmother had long before my time. She was born and raised in Louisiana, but had gotten married and moved to NE Mississippi. The family was very poor and did not have a telephone. My grandmother had a dream where she saw bloody sheets being stuffed into a toilet (maybe an outhouse at that time? I never clarified). A few days after her dream, the local sheriff came to their house to report that her sister in LA had been stabbed to death. The murderer had used bed sheets to try and clean up the blood.

So, in my younger years as a summer job myself and 2 other friends of mine painted those propane tanks in peoples yards. What's interesting is that one of these friends became a priest later in life. We were out in an old country area where not a lot of people lived and there was an old school house on one side of the road and a more modern church.....now this was probably 1987-88'ish. it was summer...very very hot i believe august or july. it's hard to get a visual from this but just imagine you are on a very long gravel road....nobody in site......and as you're walking you have an old school house on the right and directly opposite side a more modern church. ahead of you is basically nothing except for a house that sits probably 200 feet away from the church.

We had decided to take a break before painting this tank and sit under this tree that was just a bit before the church on the left that had a picnic table. we sat at the picnic table and just told jokes just being kids. only one of us could drive. I'll just say his name is Ray. As we sat there we all noticed to our right (looking back down the road from where we originated) a very old woman walking up the gravel road towards us very much dressed in very old material and had a cain in i believe her right hand. now walking towards us is actually going uphill a bit. not crazy but uphill a decent amount. she wasn't using her cain at all and i thought that was very odd. she made her way up to us walking in a straight line and approached us and to this day i remember her saying "hello boys". we said hello to her and thought nothing more.

However, I personally thought it was very strange. At this point we are about 20 feet from her ...her being in front of us. I got up and followed her. I just wanted to see where she was going. Now, let me say we had beforehand investigated the church right next to us. All doors were locked. We just thought hey lets check this church out but couldn't get in. So...anyway...I'm following this old lady and trust me..very old...had to be 80's or 90's walking up this incline not using the cain she had. I'm about 20 feet behind her and as we approached a bit just past the church to where my 2 friends couldn't see her, I knew that and looked back at them and just kind of raised my hands up to make them understand that I had no idea where she was going....this was no more than 1 or 2 seconds at best. I turned back to follow her and she was gone. Literally gone. disappeared i can't say before my eyes but for her to get out of my view in 1 - 2 seconds she would have basically had to defy all laws of physics. She was gone.

My two friends couldn't believe it and ran up to see and sure enough they saw that she was just gone. No signs of her at all. We once again just checked the church doors....all locked just like before. school...all locked and remember we are at least 50 feet away from the church or the old schoolhouse. there's absolutely zero chance of her leaving my field of view in 1-2 seconds but she did....i've tried for years to explain it but there's no explanation.

Couple of weeks after my Dad died of cancer I got a call on my cell phone that identified as being his cell phone. I knew it wasn't because his was sitting on my dresser in the next room. And it was. A few days later, visiting my Mom she told me about a call that identified as Dad on her house phone. She was creeped out by that, but not as much as I was, because i hadn't mentioned anything to her about MY experience. ( I didn't want to upset her)

Several people rag on me for not answering that call. I might have, but I have experienced other strange occurrences before. I'll pass. This is not even the weirdest thing to ever happen to me. People look at me askew when i tell my stories but they are all true. I'll never convince anyone that hasn't seen with their own eyes.

There's a famous saying, The universe is not as strange as we can imagine, it's STRANGER than we can imagine..
