was one of the best wins for WVU in Huggins tenure at WVU. I have to say I was not very optimistic about last nights game. The more I read the less confident I was. Once the game started I began feeling like we needed to find a way to regroup and move forward. The longer I watched the more confident I became. However, I knew it would be a monumental task to get a win. At the end of the game I was so proud of those guys. We were very impressive down the stretch. Road wins against ranked teams in the Big XII are not easy to come by, especially when missing a key player and coming off a poor performance in Florida. That win last night really makes me understand how special this team really is. They are not flushed with talent but they have a huge amount of heart and tenacity. Do not let them smell blood or they will be relentless. It was a great day to be a Mountaineer where ever you may have been.

If they can prepare better for the non familiar opponents like UVA and UF then this team can make a nice run into the NCAA tourney

Strange because most think it should have been the opposite coming in to this year as teams not familiar with the press should have ideally struggled with it, yet we struggled big time in our two OOC tests and outside of the Texas game we have performed well against everyone so far in conference, with a game vs Baylor yet to be played.

Best conference road win since we beat a top 10 Villanova team in front of a sold out Wachovia Center

I agree 100% If the basketball team has goals the first goal is to win the Big12 Championship and a win like that proves this team has what it takes to do just that.

Mike Effing Gansey vs. Wake was the best bb game I've ever seen in my life, in person. I lost my voice rooting against BC in the 1st game that nite.
