Most excellent...

2 things that caught my eye: First, Brandon Garrison played a whale of a game and has shown quite a bit of improvement from just that first exhibition game to now; I can't wait to see what he's growing into. Second, Cooper Flagg carries the ball every time he handles it. He let's the ball rest in his hand at the top of the dribble for WAY too long, even w/ the lax officiating of ballhandling that's common today

And that was an awful take attempt by Flagg. He was already losing it before Otega went for the strip. He almost just handed the ball to Otega.

Maybe a product of fatigue?
He also dribbled the ball off his leg in the next possession. Our defense was great, but Duke also lost the game for themselves. I love the victory just as much as everyone else, but a couple bad balls could of went the other way and we would be having a totally different conversation. We need to stay humble for now, don't want to get over our heads here.

Pope should have made his end of game speech with remember the other team was better than you they just missed open shots and their big got cramps. Use that as extra motivation

Us UK fans feel like a caveman discovering fire watching Pope make adjustments we've not seen our Coach do such a thing!

Do you mean Pope should use those statements sarcastically in reference to the “doubters” as a way to motivate going forward? Because I'm not ready to agree that Duke is a better team.

I think Duke is very good and very hard to beat. But I think they’re being over-reliant – unnecessarily so – on those freshmen, making that team not be quite as good as it could be. For instance I think the rest of the team is being lulled into a passive ball-watching mode and not impacting the game as much as they could. And those freshmen, as good as they are, have holes in their game due to their lack of experience. Those holes won’t be there in the future as they develop (largely in the NBA), but right now those things can cost Duke a lot.

Mine was more to be sarcastic and show the team how good they are

I thought that was the case, but hard to be sure on the sarcasm when just reading sometimes. Plus, I'm probably a little slow. :)
I agree with you though. Flagg will obviously be good and get better, but for Duke to where they want to be Procter foster and the others have to be good
