I would love to see how much UK has out scored opponents during the timeframe that is the last 5 minutes of a game.
It seems like we totally dominate this timeframe most of the time.

I attribute this to UKs superior depth, which In turn has kept the guys from logging loads of minutes all year and has kept them with fresh legs.

Thoughts?

I've been pretty comfortable as long as we were within 10 pts of the other team going in to the final 10. I feel that is when we start locking down on D and making better decisions scoring the ball. We have owned the last 10 min of all the close games this year it seems.

In 42 minutes of clutch time this season (defined as the last five
minutes of the second half/OT with the score within five points),
Kentucky has outscored its opponents by 30 points.

Thanks Poke. Plus factor in that we out scored the Gators by about 1o in the last 5 yesterday and that would bump the total up to about 40 pts.

You'd better not look back at the recent Arkansas game, in which the 'Cats were outscored 25-8 in the last 8 minutes. Of course, we were up 31 with 8 minutes to play, but ...

The article that TP linked gave the best specifications for clutch time. Although I am not a big fan of Cal's grinding at the end of games. Then again he makes the big cash for a reason.
