Looks pretty dope, this is the most important movie of Star Wars going forward imo, either it'll be a rehash and follow the same plot of Empire strikes back like force awakens did in comparison to a new hope or it'll actually bring some surprises and originality.

Why are all the Star Wars gurus forever whining about bringing "balance" to the Force? If "good/light" truly is more virtuous than "bad/darkness," then wouldn't we want the Force to be grossly unbalanced in the direction of the good/light side?

I think Luke's last line, "Jedi to end" was either cutoff or it was Kylo Ren/Ben's voice. Seemed odd and they've been known to mess with the audio in trailers.

There have been rumors of Luke discovering the origin and original purpose of the Jedi. He realizes how far from that purpose the order strayed and has decided to end it all.

I'm down here at Celebration (total nerd, I know). I was in the 3rd row for The Last Jedi panel today with the trailer reveal. It was pretty awesome seeing it for the first time in a room full of fans along with the cast (who said they were seeing it for the first time).

Watch where you step. There going to have to mop that floor really well after that trailer.

Maybe Luke thinks the Jedi should end because of his failure to teach Ben Solo.

Looks pretty damn good so far. Just hope that god lets me live long enough to see it.

Man. I'm about 2 miles away from ya. Got any hard drugs? Wanna leave the family and go downtown to bang some real female Jedis? That Publix. You Know the one I'm talking about it.

I don't want the second coming to happen until after episode 9 and until after Marvel wraps up it's current slate of Iron Man/Thor/Captain America led movies.

Back when women protagonists weren't shoved down our throats.

"Hey let's make Melissa mcCarthy a bad ***......."

Yep. Laura croft. Black widow. On and on.

Heroines that occur organically are awesome. But this forced attempt to make a female the lead of every movie is way over the top; and makes the movie suck.

There's a price to pay for everything

Making Rey the hero of the new Star Wars movies doesn't bother me one bit. If it bothers you its on you don't watch anymore.

I would have liked it better if they had called her a Jilli. But I don't really care.
