The last time Nebraska was in the top 10? 2016. Doesn’t seem that long ago. I remember being super pissed at college gameday for poking fun at Nebraska being in the top 10. Sad they were right as we got dismantled by Ohio St in front of Fowler and Buckeye geek Herbstreit

I think it was actually the week before when we lost in OT to Wisconsin, dropped out after that one. I remember the spread for the OSU game came out at like 19 points and we thought “no way, we just went to OT with Wisconsin, we’ve got this”. Oops
It was a surreal game. It almost es seemed like they had a shot until Armstrong got KO’d... the they crawled into a shell. Bizarre game
Talk about a bizarre game, that PSU game after the Sandusky news was strange and the Missouri game was the one where Helu ran for 300+, pretty rare too.
what about 2015 MSU at home?
It seems like every year a good unranked team beats some overrated ranked team on the road. Nebraska just hasn’t had a game like that lately.
Wikipedia says we only dropped from #7 to #9 in the AP poll after the OT loss at Wisconsin.
Edit: That's the AP Poll. Coaches Poll we went from #7 to #10, first CFP Rankings were after we lost to Wisconsin and we were #10. Dropped to #21, #20, and #19 in the AP, Coaches, and CFP, respectively, after losing to Ohio State. 2016 Rankings.
